E210 Homeschool Liaison

The E210 Homeschool Liaison is a parent volunteer who has personal experience homeschooling and serves as a supportive guide for new homeschooling families. This role involves offering mentorship, answering questions, and assisting families in understanding and navigating homeschool reporting requirements. The Liaison plays a vital role in helping to create a welcoming and informed community for homeschooling families. 

Hours depending on the needs of families. Hours will count towards your volunteer hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a point of contact for new homeschooling families.

• Provide guidance on getting started with homeschooling, including curriculum choices, scheduling, and teaching strategies.

• Assist families in understanding local/state homeschool laws and reporting requirements 

• Offer encouragement and practical tips from personal experience.

• Help families connect with local resources including HSLDA

• Communicate any concerns or needs back to E210 administrators.
